I'm new here and I'm gonna jump in with both feet first. I have a 2008 Silverado 1500 LTZ with the 6.0L engine. Who can tell me what is the best muffler to put on this thing? I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews regarding the active fuel management and I'm hesitant to make any mods without doing some research. I'm only interested in a muffler because i just want to turn down directly underneath the truck. I'm also picking up a cold air intake from GM tomorrow. Does anyone have any opinions on the new Hypertech programmer for these trucks?

Howdy back at ya.... there are lots of posts about muffler swaps and the 6.0 engine.

Welcome, and get some pictures up of the truck!

Do a search on the site first, chances are your questions have already been answered. And a few members on this site were disappointed with handheld tuners compared to a custom tune (westers, nelson, wheatly etc.).
