Evenin Boys,

New guy here, First question.

I am trying to find out how to replace the door vent window weather stripping on my 63 Chevy c-10 pu. I ran a search but nothing came up. I have the parts and pins, Just not sure where to start. I have the frame out but the rubber is hard (63). Has anyone here done this replacement before ? Where would I do a search under??

  I have a 2 gal. garden sprayer with Purple Power in it. I clean the engine bay with a cold engine and a garden hose using the spray setting. Done this for years without issue.

  I used to keep it clean, but now I just don’t care and yes, it’s very dusty. Maybe I’ll get a wild hair and clean it one of these days.

  I think the key point to longevity that may be being missed is the way the vehicle is being used. Long operating times with limited cold starts is one. Sustained speeds is another. Vehicles get better fuel mileage on highways for that reason.
