Transfer Case Leaking ?

I recently replaced my encoder motor about 3000 miles ago , and now I noticed some red fluid slowly dripping every couple of trips it seems to be coming from near where the encoder motor mounts the the case. The new motor was put in with the hard plastic gasket the same way it came off, I dont recall losing any fluid or this area being wet when it was replaced. I also have checked all over the case and do not see any of the dreaded pump wear holes. Where else should I be looking, the fluid levels are still in the right areas on the tranny to. There also was not an oring in with the encder motor, should there be one ??????

Is that part easy to get to replace, where is it ?
