Marker Lights

Alright i have 12 2.5" Trucklights on my truck. 6 on front skid plate and 3 on each frame rail.

This for some reason takes a considerable drain on my alternator, and when i turn them off you can tell it isnt stressed out charging the truck. sooo i bought 6 LED 6-diode lights. which should just about cut the energy consuption in half.

but just out of curiosity how much does just a regular 2.5" marker light use ? doesnt matter if its Wattage/ amps/ volts i cant find anything.

And a 6 diode LED light takes what 1 watts per light?

Thanks for anyone that can help me out here, it isnt crucial i would just really really like to know.

I would figure your bulbs would be marked with some of that info on them.

You could check the current use by using an Amp meter by getting in series on the circuit of one or all of your lights. If you do one add up the total, if your able to get a string of them it will give you the total for that string.

Just an idea........
