You have to have the code to unlock it.

That's the point !!!

Once unlocked you can change the code.( follow owners manual)

I changed my battery about a year after I put the code in. Like a dummy I never wrote it down. Took me two weeks of silence before I remembered the code. I was entering three numbers, but then remembered it was a four number code.

Good luck.

OK,

Here is the thing;

Yes, The radio says 'LOC'

Yes, I do have a code - 4 digit.

No, I don't have a manual.

The dealer wants $35 to unlock. They also said you (the customer) can not 'change' a set code, only lock and unlock.

Q's:

How do I enter a '4' digit code?

If you have a code, Why can't you change it?

The kid says he found out that you use the 'MN' & 'HR' buttons to set the code then use the AM/FM button to enter. Problem is I can only get a '0' or '1' to show.

All this fuss for a Delco head unit. :D Sheesch!
