Escalade Steering Wheel In 08 Gmc Sierra

Does anyone know if this can be done? Well, anything can be done w/$$ but can it be done with ease? I would like to put the steering wheel out of a 08 Caddy into my 08 Sierra. I really like the feel of a wood steering wheel plus my interior looks great w/ the factory wood accents just seems like it should get a nicer looking wheel too. I would want to put the GMC logo back in the wheel though and can't remember what the caddy wheel looks like. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

It would probably be easier if you just got a Sierra Denali steering wheel. Its the same thing as the Cadillac one as far as I know. Also you wouldnt have to change the badges out.

True, but the Denali wheel has a Denali badge not a GMC badge. I wish it had a GMC on there.

Wheels should be the same...I put one out of an 07 Denali in my 07 Sierra and Added the Heated Steering Wheel Feature....Just remeber if you have an SLT....the wood on these wheels doesn't match the wood on the Dash...for example on mine I had to order all Denali Wood....as far as the GMC Logo goes....just buy the wheel and pop your Airbag back into it...thats all you have to do....don't try to take that Logo thing off the actual bag as its kind of popped in with some tabs.

This would be a welcomed mod for me...I'm in the NorthEast...

 

Anybody have any additional info...does the clock spring need to be changed and would a switch need to be added or does it work off the heated seats?

Heated Steering wheel....that's what gloves are for! What will they think of next....heated seats too??? Oh they already have that?
