Check Engine Light On

Greetings, i am new here and hopefully someone will help me out anyways heres the problem. I got a 2004 GMC Savana Pro 3500. Just yesterday check engine light came on and i got a OBDII Reader and it gives me a code P0332

Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Input. My question is where does the knock sensor located? is there a picture of the engine where it was located? lastly i found in the google a factory service manual does this help on fixing my van? I went to my local shop and said that they will charge me for $110 for 2 sensors and a $245 of labor and i am very tight on budget currently. Thanks

Since money is an issue give a Haynes or Chiltons manual a try for about $25 at most auto parts stores. If you really want the factory manuals go w/ www.helminc.com though but it'll cost you substantially more. Sorry I can't help w/ the other questions.

The sensors are located under the intake manifold. The quote you said your shop gave you to change both sensors is reasonable. The book time for that repair is 3.5 hrs. If you get it done, make sure who ever does it puts a bead of sealant in a "U" shape infront of both sensors to act as a dam to divert water around the grommet and prevent water intrusion, which is probably the reason you have that code. If your mechanically inclined, it isn't TOO bad of a job to do. I needed to do mine last year as I recieved the same code as you. The sensors are located underneath the intake manifold in two holes. One in the front, one in the back. The sensor had looked like i had left it outside for about 7 years it was so corroded and rusty. Water seems to make it's way down there and has no way to get out.
