Oem Radio Mp3 Order

I hve a 2007 Silverado, with the stock head unit that plays mp3 cds. I burned a disc with about 7 folder in it, and each folder has 10-20 songs. Each folder is an album and all the mp3's are properly tagged. When i play the mp3 though in the head unit, the order is all messed up. Like, what should be track 1 is like track 8 etc.... i cant figure out why the files are playing out of order. All the file names are in the format Artist - Album - track #- song name.mp3

 

Any clue how to fix this?

Maybe the deck is putting the songs in alphabetical order? My after market deck did that so I put the track number first so it played them in order.

Hello you might want to check to see if you are in random selection. Check the owners manual to find the info to change this mode. I know there's something in there about folders and random play.
