whenever i am in auto 4wd or just 4 high or low, my truck gives me noise whenever i turn the wheel sharp. kind of like a groan sound. and in reverse the transmission acts sticky and wont just coast backwards in reverse, i have to give it gas. my questions is what might be the faulty piece of equipment.

Does it do this on gravel or dirt, or just on dry pavement? Any truck in 4wd will groan and bind when you turn on dry pavement.
