Digital Climate Control

I have a 06 silverado 2500HD and was thinking about installing a digital climate control, what do I need to know? Is there anyting that can prevent me from installing?

Can't be done. Controllers, ductwork, electronics, BCM are all different. The digital climate control isn't that great anyway - I'd rather have the manual system in mine.

I was working this project and decided to quit. Installing all of the sensors is easy. Wiring it up isn't too difficult. However, the auto system has two temperature actuators, they control the flow of air through the ducts. The manual system only has one. And you can't install a second one unless you completely tear out the dash and the duct work. I got all the way to that point and quit.

 

It's a pain in the ass.
