Welcome to the site.

I can't help you with this one as I've never attempted it but if you use the search and advanced search features (look in the upper right corner) you might just find that someone has done this before or at least discussed it. If at first you don't get any results, try different combinations of search terms, it's likely something will show up.

If you find a good way to do this for a relatively decent price...I'd love to know how it's done. The real thing I want is power locks more than windows, but both would be nice. Beautiful truck, btw. I thought long and hard about a similar styled wheel for mine.

You DO have the complete wiring diagrams right?

Ive been looking and the only think i can do so far is buy the manual. I was hopeing to just get a print off somewhere but i havent been able to find someone that has them yet.

As far as power locks your best bet would be an alarm system and 2 lock actuators. I put a clifford in mine and it works great. Converting to power windows has cost $400 and thats for everything including new panels, switches, motors, regulators, and wiring harnesses. I just need to figure out how and where to run the wires and also what wires i can remove off the harness.

Great looking truck by the way. Thats a sharp color. If you want to put power windows in let me know and ill tell you where to get everything since your definatly not going to want to go to the dealer.

Is that 37 megs of manual that is in WiKi that people were looking at some threads ago work for You.

I thought that someone was/is selling the DVD service manual on here somewhere?

I know you mentioned that you already have all the parts. I don't know if you looked into it, but it may be cheaper/easier/better for you to go to a salvage yard, and "trade" your doors for some doors that come with power everything, and negotiate a price for the trade. I noticed you have a classic style truck, so you should not have a problem finding the doors. You can always try to return the parts, or sell them on eBay, if this ends up working better for you. Just my .02 .

Thats how i got everything i did. It was alot cheaper than new. As far as trading the whole door out its just as easy to add the harness and regulators as it is to swap he whole door.

Going for the salvage parts is a good Idea, Depending on the quality of parts you get off the aftermarket, I can tell from experience they dont work to well acouple years later!

Ok, that should be pretty good. I helped a friend do this a while back, and we simply unplugged the door harness, and unbolted the door. It was a lot easier to do, and he even got the same color door. I am anxious to see your results. I hope you can get some pics posted of the transformation.

I will definatly take some before, during and after shots. I already changed out the regulator and motor so all i have left is the wiring harness and panels to swap out. Im still not looking forward the the wiring and curious if anyone knows if i need to have the BCM reprogramed
