Need Help With Power Windows..

Hello everyone!

I just bought my first REAL truck yesterday...an '06 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab. I LOVE the truck, but today I found that both of the power windows on the driver's (unfortunately) side will not go down. I can hear a little "click" at the rear door when I try to lower it from the driver's door.

I tried to find a blown fuse, but they were all good. Actually, can anyone tell me what the power window fuse is labeled as, because I could NOT find one labeled for the windows either under the hood, nor in the fuse block in the dash.

The truck has around 57,000 miles on it, so I guess it's out of warrany. Actually, I can't believe that I didn't test the windows BEFORE I bought the truck! LOL Oh, well... live and learn!

Anyway..I'm sorry to be so long-winded. I thank you all in advance for any help that you have.

Did you buy it from a GM Dealer? If so they may help you and warrenty the work as a "good will" thing. I have seen some GM dealers help people out, I was foutunate enough to have a service manager help me out on my 1995 Camaro years ago(basically rebulit the trans and upgraded it with Corvette servos after the supercharger was already installed). You never know and it does not hurt to ask, alot of those guys will try and help out if you treat them like real people and not the enemy.

Another example is a service tech just did a crank relearn on my truck for free(I still gave him $20bucks) after hearing me talk to the salesman about me not getting one yet for my truck, (even though its only thrown a code once since installed). Long story short ask a Dealer, tell them you just bought the truck and they may help you out. Good Luck!
