Power Assist Steps Be Added?

Just bought an '08 LTZ Avalanche. Really want the Power Assist Steps, but nothing in stock. Can they be installed now? If so do they share the same bolt pattern as a tahoe/suburban?

 

BTW, I searched the forums, no relative threads found.

They should be able to be bolted on, with reprogramming of the door control modules, aka Assist Step control module. As for the exact parts, may want to PM one of the parts guys to see what they would recommend

on a side note, when I used to work for Cadillac (field office), we had a lot of complaints where the boards would either get stuck in the open (lowered) position, or they would not deploy at all. it seems as if GM has gotten that taken care of, but I just figured that I would let you know.

I'm kind of a follower. I was hoping to find someone who has done it. To ask how diificult, parts needed, etc....

If noone has apparently done this, does anyone know where I can get the exploded parts drawing to see if I can view the required parts/wiring? thx
