Everybody out here is always Ridin' Chevy, GMC and Cadillac. You can't go through an inersection in my area without seeing a new Tahoe, Yukon, or Escalade along with the new trucks

Thats the only thing that I like about Michigan! When I am up there I never see Nissan Titans and Toyota Tundras(unless I am at bass pro!)... All you see is Chevy, plus my father in law works for gm there!

Michigander here! i drive a silverado and work for GM, just one of those things, ya cant bite the hand that feeds ya, nothing but GM for me! another thing i notice, i'm in Lansing not just the state capitol but former Oldsmobile headquarters, and even though there hasnt been an Olds made since 2004 theres still a TON of them on the road around here!!

When I went to California for 2 weeks last summer, I saw tons of lifted Silverado's out in the country...and I mean tons! I was surprised.

i love it ! I LOVE THE BREAK FROM SUBURBIA! sometimes i get sick of passing little hundia's and kias... its fun to run with some real trucks!

It's totally true! Especially in the Grand Rapids area, a lot of households have a Suburban, Tahoe or Silverado. Thats just what we drive. Go to a state campground/beach here in the summer and all you see is Silverados and Suburbans. Picture perfect

Yet another reason why I love it here in MI :shakehead:

"DOWN THERE"??? :shakehead:

WOW... that's about 1400 miles NORTH of me.

Here in Texas the Suburban is the king of cars, and GM trucks are everywhere. I'm glad yo hear it's the same UP THERE!

Yeah, the big three are pretty dominate in Michigan, but GM vehicles are the most popular. Also, almost everyone I know has at least one truck. I've had the pleasure of driving in Washington D.C. area traffic before for business (notice the sarcasim), and all you see are foreign cars and trucks zipping all over. Must be a status symbol or something there to drive something not based in the USA.
