Chevy Rocker Panel Moldings On Gmc

It has really started to bother me that you can see the frame rails as you approach my 07 NBS Sierra. Have any of you noticed this on you truck and find it looks as though they forgot a body piece or something?

 

I was looking for some sort of rocker panel piece that would continue the body line for a couple of inches under the doors. Street scene makes some for extended cabs but not for the crew cabs. I saw a topic on here about Roush doing a Chevy and it had a Chevrolet Accessories ground effects kit on it. I'm not too keen on the bumper but the rocker panel pieces may be what I'm looking for. Can any of you help me out and let me know if these rocker panel moldings for a 08 Chevy Silverado would bolt up to a 07 GMC Sierra. The basic frame and body under pining of the Silverado and Sierra are the same so the part should fit, but it would be nice for some one with a little more expertise in this field to throw in there two cents. The part number for the Silver part is 17802669. Would this color be the same as Silver Birch metallic? Do they have plain silver in 08 or is it still Silver Birch?

Has anyone even seen this kit in person??? How about you guys around here that work at dealerships; have any trucks been through your work with this kit installed?

 

Does anyone know of any other rocker panel moldings for a NBS crew cab Sierra? I need to cover these frame rails, and I've never been a nerf bar kind of guy.
