That sucks dude, is it your sattelite reception or the recetion on your stereo? you can get attenas for the Fm signal that make a huge difference! sends signal much stronger to stereo, better sound, plus less interuption from people using the same frequency, Ive had my sirius for 3 years and i can`t live without it!!

Yeah i have had bad luck since day one i have already been through two head units and i still have reception trouble.. i bought the FM transmitter but does new 07s dont have an RCA plug behind the steros for the antenna, but yeah i believe its the frequency.. i think i might just have to get a new base and head unit and FM wire... it just seems like it has something to do with my wires touching the metal on my truck because i have it all hidden... who knows

Jackus,

I have a nbs truck with a sirius tuner. i use the mp3 jack in the front of the radio and my reception is crystal clear. i hate using the fm modulator. it sounds like a bad tape. i am waiting for the sirius tuner that takes the place of the xm tuner behind the dash. should be out soon. its called sir-gm3 or 3a. look it up.

hope this helps.

Not sure what you mean about that. There is a small input jack on the front of the stock radio. I got this adapter to go from my tuner to the factory radio:

Sirius Direct Wire Adapter

You can hook up the Sirius tuner that way or use an mp3 player that has an adapter/plug that looks like a headphone jack to plug into the radio.

Let me know if one of us is confused. I hope that answers your question.

There is also a product that installs inline with your factory antenna. This will eliminate the need to the FM modulator part of the sat. radio and you won't have any wires hanging around in from of the radio, should you want to change a CD or something like that.
