Fender Flares

I am purchasing OEM Fender Flares from one of the website's I buy all of my truck accesories from for my 02 Sierra since it didn't come with any originally when I purchased the truck, my question is should I get them painted to match my truck(white) or just leave em black or should I just skip getting em and leave it the way it is or get chrome fender trim instead ? I like the fender flares as it gives a different look to the truck but what do you guys think before I spend the money to get em and such.

Are they truly OEM, or OEM "Style"? If they are OEM, get them and color match them. Don't get the cheesy "OEM Style" kind that have the black trim around the edge where it meets the fender. I had that style on my 2000 and didn't like it. It would look worse on your white truck (unless you leave them black).

I've always really liked the white trucks with black flares.....thats me though.

I've got OEM white fender flares, but would prefer the OEM unpainted black/grey plastic ones. The paint takes a beating with chips and rust pits, the Michigan winters are unforgiving. I really like the looks of the flares though

I say paint them white. If you like them black better I think that would look nice too since you have a lot of black there already.

I mean if I was to buy em and leave em black would it look bad with all the other stuff on there that is black (I.E Westin bars, mud flaps, brush guard)

you might have to get new mudflaps, there are non-flare mudflaps, and flare mudflaps. I don't think yours will work with flares.

 

buy a set of OEM flares and ship them to me...and I'll send you mine

Get the OEM flares and leave them black. As mentioned before, you'll probably have to get different mud flaps.
