GM Card MasterCard Platinum

GM Business MasterCard

 

I've had the GM MasterCard Platinum for decades.

 

I just received an offer for a GM Business Card - MasterCard.

 

Anyone know the difference or which is better?

 

It might be a moot point as I already have points on the original MasterCard Platinum. And I was told by the GM Business Card people that one cannot use two sets of points toward one sale of a new GM vehicle.

 

Do I shred the application for the new GM Business Mastercard?

Your regular GM card pays back 5% in earnings, where the business version is something like 3% on some things and 1% on most things not automotive related. So I have been sticking with the regular platinum GM card since it pays back a lot more than the other one.

Thank you for responding. I will keep my old GM Mastercard Platinum and discard this new application for a Business GM Mastercard.

I wish GM chose a better company than HSBC to have the GM card, they have the worst customer service.
