2008 Electronics Trouble

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra and I am having a few problems with it...... The dome light will not turn off, I have to hit the dome override, the doors don't lock when put into gear (eventhough it is set to do so), the panic alarm goes off for no reason when doors are locked for more than 30 minutes.... I had to disconnect the battery last night at the hotel I was staying at because the panic alarm kept sounding. Anyone ever experience these issues, or is it an isloated incident???????

All these problems point to one cause. It sounds like one of the door position signals isn't right, the truck thinks a door is open.

That makes sense, because at one point the DIC said the passenger door was open when it was not..... I will call the dealer on Monday..Thanks!
