How To Remove Small Ceiling Console On 08 Silverado?

I assume your talking about the one with the lights and stuff. Just pull down on it, it snaps in there.

as you can see, you dont just want to pull on it or force it out, look for those two screws to release the console from the roof

well thats what i did on mine and it seemed to come out fine, dont remember seeing any screws or anything

Thanks Mike.......I have been wondering how to drop

the darn thing so I could fish out the beacon wires

for my yellow snowplowing warning light !!!!!!!!!

According to the VYU plow prep info. I have the wires

are tied to the ceiling light console mount.

 

So I guess I have to take out the light lens cover to

get to the screws.................geo

That's correct...Use a pick or a trim tool to pop the light cover off and expose the two screws.
