Sierra Wt Options?

Getting ready to order a new truck. Doing like a friend did and going to option out a WT model. Pretty nicely loaded for being a WT model. Power everything, carpet, XM etc. He got a Silverado but I favor the front end of the Sierras. When adding options, I know on the Silverado that the bumper sides get paint on the WT models IF you ad the LS package. But my question is this. Does the Sierra receive the same deal if you add the SLT package? Another little reason I want a Sierra is because you can get the Remote Starp Prep and fog lamps.

Another question... When I built a Sierra on the GMC site, it lists the SLT package as an option. Guy at the dealer says that isnt legit. Anybody know about that whole deal?? Or is the SL the only option that can be added to the WT??

You can add the SL package,which includes chrome grille surround,fog lights,chrome wheels. Also the preferred package which I have have includes cruise control,keyless entry and tinted glass. On top of that carpet and the towing package is available.If I would have ordered my truck,I would have gone for the SEO power windows & locks.Hope this helps

See what im wondering is this. Does your truck have the remote start prep package then?? Because listed on the GMC website it says that the Preferred Package (PCM) includes Remote Start Prep (AP3). Any way you can check your glovebox to see if your RPO codes has AP3 listed??

I have my RPO code list in front of me now and I don't have AP3. The GMC website isn't quite accurate. I went through the same thing before I bought my truck.What I did was go to Edmunds.com and build a truck on that site. The options are spelled out a little clearer there.That remote start would be nice though!
