Can I Get A Little Help

Can someone please post the link on xm radio prices with a special code for $77.00. I remember seeing it here a little while ago, but searched and can't find it. I want to renew, and would like to have the reduced price code.

The code was zwinback. I just called last week trying to get the $77 rate. They asked where I got the code and I told them the internet. They said I didn't qualify for the price unless I had received an e-mail with that offer. They would not make me the offer or tell me what the qualifications were for the offer. They would not allow me to speak to someone empowered to make me the offer.

I hung up. I called back and followed the menu prompts to cancel my service. When that representative came on I told her I wanted to either cancel my service or renew it at the $77 price point that I know others had been offered. I have renewed my service for $77 for the next year.

Good luck to you!

P.S. Based on the "winback" in the code my guess is that the offer was made to people who had actually cancelled the service and they were trying to win them back.

They had sent me a mailer for the $77 rate. That is the only reason I renewed. But now with all the commercials, I will not renew again. Especially not for the full price!

I just called, told them I had the zwinback promotion, and they gave me the $77.00 price with no questions. Thanks for the help.

I cant imagine either renewing the onstar or the X-M for the price. about $150.00 will get YOU a 4 gig I-POD to plug into the aux jack on your dash. Then if you dont have your own teenage kid find someone elses to show you how to download every single song you ever liked in your life. And then you will still have tons of memory left for more new songs. Then listen to exactly whatever you want whenever you want...

Hey!

Thanks to this thread I just bought XM for the year. Well not me, but my Dad did for his Caddy SRX. Apparently I dont have XM in my truck.

Anyways, I gave them the code "zwinback" and apparently that is only available in the states...Buuuuuut she gave me the Canadian version of the promo which was 96 bucks - which is still around 70 bucks cheaper than normal. On top of that, they sent me an XM portable receiver for 6 bucks (shipping costs) so that solves my Truck problem.

:puke:

Well, up here in hill and mountain country, I only get one station - NPR. Good, but that gets tired after awhile. Ipod/MP3. Yes, I have that also. But I also like to listen to CNBC, BBC, Canada radio, and the two comedy channels. Satellite radio is a godsend for me. I signed up for the 3 years but paid the $9.99 as I had not heard (yet) of the 'special' rates. Won't happen again, though.

You city folks have it made. A kazillion free channels. But up here in hill and mountain country - we don't even lock our vehicles. Go to supermarket and leave keys in ignition sometimes (by mistake) and need not worry. Does have some advantages here.

I find the factoryradio pretty easy to figure out. Why is Sirius better?

I had a call tonight to renew my xm radio service(expires tomorrow) with an offer of 3 months for $6.99 a month. I asked about the $77.00 dollar for a year service promotion and the girl replied "sure, do you want that?" So, I ended up getting 3 months @ 6.99 a month plus the 77.00 promotion. Ends up I get 15 mounths service for around $100.00. If you decide to renew ...wait tilll last day. :D
