I had a chance to clean it up a bit. Looks pretty good for 8 yrs old, and bone stock.

Hey Jeff,

On my 98 350 I had the throttle body blade changed out and it made a world of difference. If you take the air cleaner off the TB and pull the blade open you can see that there is a piece that is riveted to one side of the blade. Thats there for when you do a low rpm take off air only comes in on one side of the TB blade. You can get a new blade for it for about 50 bucks that just is the blade and not the extra piece. The extra power is nice and I didn't see any less in mpg. Plus it really helped the truck pulling on the highway. It really helps out in the idle-about 2200 rpm range. Seeing that old intake made me think of that and the fact that mine was bone stock except that, exhaust, and a K&N.

Believe it or not. I get a bottle of Mean Green from the Dollar Store for $2 and use a garden hose. I usually spray the whole bottle on in 2 applications. Most times I don't have to use any elbow grease, but I had to this time, thanks to an ugly salty winter. Then just hose it off, dry off any standing water, let sit for about 10 min and start her up. I do cover the distributor cap with a plastic bag. The plastic parts, I use Black Magic for tires.
