80 Mm Throttle Body

Hi guy`s,curious as to what size throttle body is on my 2001,8.1 burb and would it be beneficial in any way (mileage/performance) to get a BBK 80 mm one.Do the aftermarket ones have a smoother entryway into the body than stock?I have a velocity stack in place now(vr) and I believe it made a difference in response.I don`t want to throw away money and was just curious.I have a modified stock airbox w/K&N and a flowmaster delta fifty for mods.Thanks,Toby

I dont think it would make too much of a difference, you might get better performance out of a tune at this point vs hardware....just my opinion

i put a 75 mm on my 454, (73mm is stock for mine) all i noticed was a little quicker throttle respose, thats it, i measured my upper intake (and i can also get a BBK 80mm for my truck) but the opening is only 76mm so i`d be wasting alot of the new throttle body, you could probly easily measure yours, for what you pay its not really worth it, to be honest,
