How do I selectively quote from threads? Quick lesson please.

No I mean, in a particular message that has several sentences let's say, I want to quote only one sentence, how do I do that?

you have to basically delete the header information and just keep that line within the quote brackets, kinda like this:

That should be easy to determine from the collection of us, just throw in your vin and see if they are all made in the same location...

FTR, mine is from Silao, Mexico and is flawless. No orange peel, thin spots or non-uniformity of any kind.

you want to delete everything past the /quote tag that you dont want and then make the last quote tag into an 'open' quote

there might be a better, faster way, but that is how i have done it here since I started
