My wife and I are expecting our first child in March of next year and I have already found the perfect gift regardless of if it is a boy or girl.

Power Wheels

Just like daddy's...well similiar anyway.

Cool, huh?!?

what do you mean kids toy?   I was going to buy one.  It would look cool if I got one and made it like my truck.  Would be sweet at car shows.

I say get it, it's what every kid needs.

And make sure you get a gm-trucks sticker for the windshield of it.

:sigh:  :P  :D  :P

My thoughts exactly!  I wanted to take this time to work out nerf bars, wheels, maybe some rubber tires.

I would have to hop-up that 12v...Maybe a Briggs..or 24v series set.  ;)

you might as well just buy it for the body and throw it on a go-kart frame or something.  Oh great now I've got all of these cool ideas.  But it would be great.  Hmmm, now can you make it 4wd?

Strip down a 4x4 Honda Fourtrax.  Hopefully you can find one that has been rolled.

Maybe get a subframe for the body...It would prob. look similiar to an HD with a bit of frame showing...

by the time you're done it'll have a top speed of 85 mph, 35" tires, have a full rollcage, able to climb almost anything and will require your kid to wear a 5 pt harness and wear a helmet.  And by then you'll be too busy driving it that the kid never will be able to

Could you imagine....They have that junior dragster racing.  This would be junior tuff-trucks, or junior mud-bogging...

And of course those Bigfoot things that Bob Chandler sells would be better, but hey, I made this one myself...and it's a Chevy (kinda)

Aww man, Power wheels were my favorite toys when I was little.

I had 2. they lasted like 3 or 4 years, they're still in my garage as "momentos". :D

But unfortneately, they've made their last runs in their lives. :sigh:
