haha I can see that happening. Around here the 3 or so that I regularly see are being driven crazy. Weaving in and out of traffic flying through parking lots. They think since its small its like a go cart. Its a mess waiting to happen. if one gets hit the only good thing there wont be much to clean up

Actually they fare quite well in crash tests. They have 8 air bags positioned around the driver, quite impressive engineering if you ask me.

What's really scary is that he had a toddler in a car seat in the front pass seat. No, he wasn't really racing or driving crazy, but still.

You could put 100 airbags in that thing so you are completely entombed in a bag of air and I still wouldn't want to be hit by anything bigger than a Camry.

Honestly if they had bigger engines, like the Ecotec turbo 4 even, and I was given one, I don't think I would mind it, but they just don't have enough power for me.

That's what I heard, too. "They perform very well in crash tests with similarly sized vehicles." That tells me "it would fare very poorly when impacted by my truck or probably anything the size of a Taurus or bigger."

Why? It is a rear engine rear drive car that is ultralite. If it was cranking 150 HP instead of 73 I really wouldn't mind one.
