4L60-E or 4L65-E I think.

I was almost positive that they were the 65 series instead. That 94 or so up to 98 ran 4L60s and then 99-07 Classics ran the 4L65 and then the NBS went back to a reengineered 4L60 with some improvements.

Same thing different name. The 70E's are supposed to have some stronger parts I believe. In the end it's a p.o.s. 700R4 thats controlled by a computer, which GM has been fiddling with for a few decades.
