07 Denali Sound Problems

I recently just purchased a slight water damaged Denali. Well i have everything fixed except for the sound. The navigation and dvd player work but i can only manage to get sound out of the driver side front tweeter. I purchased a amp from a salvage yard but i want to make sure that is the only thing that could be wrong before i go to the dealer and spend 500 on a new bose amp. I have performed and ohm check and get connection all the way through the wires to the door speakers so i know none of the connections are corroded. Is there anything simple i could be overlooking? I have tried to fade the sound to the passenger side and all sound stops. I have checked the speakers and they themselves are good. Thanks for the help.

On thing I would try. Take an old speaker and hook it up individually to the inputs and outputs of the amp. The connections should all be right at the amp in the center console. You should be able to connect it to the input for each of the channels and the output. If you have sound on all the inputs but not some of the outputs, the AMP is the problem. If some of the inputs don't work, the head unit or wiring is likely the problem. Lastly, on my 08, the databus controls the fade/balance and volume through the bose amp. I'm not sure how that could be tested though. You should be able to hook the speaker by pulling the connector to the amp and touching the proper pair of wires. You will need a wiring diagram. I have one for 08 but I don't know if that is exactly the same.
