I am looking to see if anyone has the answer to this, I was waxing my truck the one day and the wax bottle was sitting on my undercover tonneau cover and the wind knocked the bottle over spilling some of the wax onto the cover, now I figured I had cleaned it up but the next day I noticed it was kinda dry looking as if I didnt get it all cleaned off, sorta like when you let the wax dry like it says and then you wipe it off, its not a shiney black anymore at the one spot it's a kinda dirty white looking, like the wax got into the grooves of the cover, can anyone suggest on how to clean the excess wax off the cover since it has been on there thinking I got it off, It is now starting to bug me since my truck is beyond clean and shiney and then there is the cover which is clean and shiney except at the one spot, I was just looking to see if anyone had any suggestions for around the house kind of stuff rather then having to drive and get something, if worse case scenario I will go and purchase something but want to see what I can do at home first.

A white pencil eraser works great. I buy a 3 pack of the Mars/Staedler (SP?) at the office supply for $2 and 3 will last you years. I hear that peanut butter works but have never tried it.

Never thought about an eraser, I will definetly try that, would a pink one work or are the white ones better ?

I know it does when you are talking about erasing on paper.
