Check Out Jl's New Space Saver Subwoofer

So I was at my local audio dealer getting a quote on a custom system this week and what I love about this place is that every system is designed for your vehcile, there are no premade boxes there, each one is made to order. So I was looking at my space saving options and just full out audio options and the guy came out with a box of these http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs_pa...php?page_id=245 They are the new TW5 woofers and man are these things slim, and well made. He told me that they sound great and deffinatley hit hard just like any JL and maintain the same sound quality but sadly there isn't much excursion so low frequencies don't get hit as well. But you can practically fit these things anywhere and a box of two of them looks like one standard 12" sub. I just thought i'd share this with you guys becuase I'm usually up to date on all the new products and I hadn't even heard of these yet.

Shallow subs :M16:

In my 92' Sonoma GT that would be good thing.

In the latest Truckin' mag I just picked up they have a section they call "trucktronics" and this months is about low profile subwoofers and the companies that make them. Interesting article they mention Pioneer's TS-SW251 10" shallow........Sony XSL12S 12 inch sub....JL Audio 12TWS 142in thin line....Kenwood's eXecelon KFC-XW1200F 12 inch sub.....Kicker CompactVT8 8" slim sub.....and the Memphis Car Audio's SC104S4 10" slim sub.....now I know nothing about subs but I am looking at getting a set for my 07 Silv Reg. Cab I basically just want a little base in the back ground and maby a back massage every now and then...any suggestions? (sorry for kinda hi-jacking the tread)
