Clunk In Left Suspension

It's been a long time...

 

When I turn the wheel (particularly at low speed, or even stopped) on occasion I get a clunk. It almost sounds like it's something in the steering (tie rods maybe?) I don't know, but I don't like it! It doesn't sound/feel like a big deal, basically seems like there is some play in one of the wheels when it's turned close to full left or right lock.

have you looked at your bearings in your A arms to make sure they are not worn out and if that isnt it I would deffinatly check the tie rods for play or the pittman arm you might want to check that as well for any play in it

check your upper control arm bushings to.. once those wear out you'll hear clunking on slow speed sharp tunring just replaced mine yesterday... check ball joints aswell while your at it..

my clunk is starting to come back, it may be time to head back to the dealership

mine does this too....I think its my upper a arms ....thats why im taking off my RC lift. Its not great quality like I thought.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I know it's not the Intermediate Steering Shaft (I've lived through that enough times to know what that is). I was wondering if the A arm joints might be involved with this (either the ball joint or the bushings). Nice seeing some new names on here (not to suggest that the usual suspects weren't great as well!)
