Noise From Speakers With Hazards (flashers) On...

I just got an 08' Silverado - when I turn the hazards on I can hear a noise from the speakers (in addition to the sound that the flasher makes). this happens regardless if the ignition is on or off. I would describe the sound as the sound a speaker makes when you first hook it up to a powered wire - the sound of the speaker cone moving slightly. This happens with every flash...

 

any thoughts??

There's no flasher unit anymore. Hazards and turn signals are the same way. All the sound comes through the speakers from the BCM.
