2" Drop Shackles

ok i ordered 2" drop shackles from ground force, and someone told me i have to change my shocks? is this true??

 

i know when you lift a truck you have to but, even when you lower it u have to.

i have the same set of drop shackles...they suckkkk..

you need new shocks because they bottom out factory shocks...

i went out and bought new shocks and still bottomed out...so i took the drop shackles off to get a comfortable ride............... :crackup:

I have changed the hangers as well... and now have a vibration what symptoms did you have?

They must be different on the older trucks, as my 2008 rides perfect with the GF 2" shackles.

I did not need new shocks and I have not bottomed out at all.

ok since it's the same subject I wanna ask...

 

I have an 07 classic 4wd and would like to level out my truck and was thinking the mcgaughys 2" drop shackle. Is it just as good to take the blocks out? Is is easier? I also heard that the rear block on my truck is 3"... if that's true and I take it out will it "sag" lower than the front or maybe i'll need a 1" block to replace it with? any help is appreciated! I know I'm resurrecting an old thread.
