Engine Won't Start Warm

Hi all.

I have a 89 Sierra with the 5.0. When the engine is cold it starts right up and runs great. Once it warms up to operating temp it still runs awesome. when I turn it off warm and then try and start it before it cools down it just cranks and cranks. Any thought?

I do have the Check engine light on, I haven't had a chance to check what code its thorwing, but I thougt I'd see if anyone had any ideas.

The truck has roughly 280,000 on it.

id check your fuel pump relay to start with my friends 90 would do this also his was a relay ready to die

I have to agree.... definately check the fuel pump relay....
