2006 Silverado Sunroof Stuck Open

I have a 2006 Silverado extended cab with a sunroof (the one that slides over the roof not into the roof) and it will not close. It gets stuck with the rear edge of the glass open a couple of inches (the vent position). It will open fine but when closing it will go to that same spot with the rear edge open. This happened once before (about a year ago) and I got in the bed of the truck and as my wife pressed the close button I pushed on the glass and it finally closed and has worked perfectly until today. I've tried pushing on it again but it still will not close. How can I get the sunroof to fully close? Is there a part that needs adjustment or replacement for this not to happen again?

In that case, I'd try sending a PM to M. Cueva. He should be able to let you know if there's a TSB for the issue.

how far over are you on the warranty? and are you in good terms with ur dealer?? if so.. my shop usually goodwills stuff like that for a lil while past the warranty given the 2 factors above.

Did you ever get an answer on this. I have an 05 Sierra Crew cab that does the same thing.
