Black Out Taillights Or Led Taillights?

So im thinking either this http://www.k2motor.com/ltsiv07jmledks.html or go with a smoked film and maybe then add led bulbs to it or not? Im just concerned with these asain led taillights, how long will they last. If i had to replace, id have to take apart the whole assembly. Which way looks better other than neither if you had to chose I did a what if quick in photoshop.

I vote get the LED tails, and smoke them lightly. I'm not a fan of black tails.

that ebay auction is invalid just so ya know .. i am on the fence with this myself .. i my want to tint my tail lights and 3rd brake light .. its a much cheaper option but i think it may look better with a black truck .. still on the fence though

I would definetly go with LED Tail-lights only because if you go with LED bulbs then you gotta worry about it flashing to fast or whatever whereas with the LED taillights you wont have to worry about it because they are made so there isnt that issue of the fast flash plus you can purchase em with the smoke look to em, plus there isn't really any good LED bulbs out there other then maybe the Putco 360 led bulbs but you gotta buy the led resonator for em to keep em from flashing fast.

No biggie, just a link to some tints on there. Price wise doesnt matter, im a few grand already into the truck, and probably be about another 5 when its done with the mods i have planned. I was all set to get he whole new led assembly replacement pieces, but the wife saw the tints on ebay and now im on the fence. With the black smoked vinyl film would look/match with my black striping too. I can skip the replacement led bulbs and just do that too. I was reccomended this place, http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/fp/SFV/32481 for leds, and they have if needed, the fixes if need be which i have to find out nowl for the flashing/turn signals.

I guess my tails are Recon, when I purchased them, they came in a box labeled IPCW. I have the same as yours but mine are the regular red (so they look factory until they light up)

How did you get a NNBS SS? I would of went with the blacked out stockers. I am just not a fan of the other ones...looks kinda ricey, but thats just my opinion

Just lucky, it not a real ss, just my idea of what one would look like in my own creation if it were to come out in this color lol. I decided the black led taillights would match with my front to go with the theme, i have enough black on there, so deciding with the vinyl over it would be a bit much. Plus itll be more unique having the led taillights.

Got em from a seller on ebay gave me a better deal then normal, but same as the link above. Should have them sat or so. Thatll pretty much finish the outside, been working dressing the engine compartment and doing detail work inside. Ordering those neat aerospace gauges another member on here reccomended. I had a guy custom make a orange/black steering wheel cover, plus ill be making custom door inserts in orange along with dying a part in black on the door coming up. Then do custom orange/black leather seat covers after that.

I figured, but you'd be surprised by the everyday person asking, people have gone to the dealer where i bought the truck asking for one just like mine
