Hello

I have a 2003 Silverado, and the problem I'm having is at 40-45 I will set the cruise but as soon as I hit a bump in the road it will cut out. Thanks in advance for the help.

My father had a 2000 1-ton dually that did that as well. Aparently the return spring on the brake pedal was weak and when you hit a bump it would bounce the brake pedal lighting up the brake lights and turning off the cruise.

Great thanks for the responce, did he get a new spring from the dealer?

Well, not that you want to hear this but he sold it because he wanted a diesel.

Well i appericate your help..I will give it a try. I dont know what is going on with this thing.

Well idont think its the spring..cuz its out completely. On a another board some one mentioned the Brake Light Switch. Does any one know about this

I think the only remedy to this problem is to sell your truck for a diesel.
