2008 Silverado Only Has One Horn

This seems unusual to me. Did Chevy cut costs by only installing one horn on '08's? It sure sounds flat and not very loud, not having a high and a low tone. Maybe they just forgot!? The only one is on the driver's side, that I can see.

Just take it to the dealer and have it fixed its under warranty.

I've looked all over under there, and really can't find a second one. Yea, I will check with the dealer, see what they say. Thanks

My 2008 2500HD has two horns, one on the driver's side and the other on the passenger side. They are pretty hard to access or even see. I tapped into the wiring on the driver's side horn to add an air horn, and it took a while to find them.

My 2007 sounds like a small car. Definitely not as loud as the YukonXL was.

I pressed the 'panic' button on the remote yesterday just to hear the horn, it sounded 3 times and stopped. Not loud enough for anyone to take notice.

Holding the panic button down for 3 or more seconds will make it continue to beep.

I added an air horn to my 2008 and now the locking alarm will not blow the horn. Did u connect to both wires on the plug or just one?
