Turn Signal Problem

In my '04 silverado 1500 randomly when I put on my signal to turn both signals will come on. I am thinking this is a ground I had a friend tell me it was a ground on my block but couldn't tell me where. This really happens randomly and most the time if I just sit and turn them off and on I can get it back to a single blinker. If any one has any Ideas on what to check would be great.

I would a agree with a ground problem. There are several place where they ground electrical on vehicles. Your best bet is to pick up a repair manual, wiring schemetics for your vehicle.

It is the warning flasher relay/module. mounted under the dash,on the right side of the fuse block, that you can see if you remove the the fuse panel cover on the driver side of the I/P. 89.00 bucks. Dealer

You will have to remove the trim around the cluster, and the hood release on the knee bolster, and knee bolster. It's a 1x3 inch black module.

Did you ever get this problem resolved? I am currently having the same issue going on with my 03' Silverado.
