Alright, like the title says i am building my engine and have alot of it figured out but need a little more help. Here is what i have so far:

 

4.8L vortec

Custom rotating assembly from wiseco (waiting on estimate)

Whipple Charger ($4000)

Custom oil pan (als hot rod garage 500)

Custom intake

Headers( need a head first but looking like a grand)

Custom exhaust back (250, als hot rod)

Eaton nospin locker(980)

ARP head studs(still researching)

ECU tuning(600)

20 over boring(160)

Balancing(need to wait)

 

Now here are my questions and where i need help:

 

traction bars? Should i get some, and if so where from

Transmission rebuild, or new? Hd rebuild, or 4l80E

Heads? not sure what will flow better and allow me to use the whipple charger

Cam? Mild, something that will lope a little.
