Not a Z06, just a regular C6 (if you can call a C6 regular). Wrong wheels, no badges, no flared fenders, missing rear brake duct inlet, etc... But very cool nonetheless!!!

That's pretty good. I've heard they've been having trouble moving them off lots, they were probably happy to see one go! Everyone is buying Cobalts :-D He picked a good color.

definitely.. that color is my favorite.. followed closely by black.

They get surprisingly good fuel economy.. my dads 07 gets 17 city, and 25 highway (he does drive like an old man, but hey.. he can. He is an old man...). My 92 Vette gets 16 city and roughly 23 highway. 39k is a great deal...

Yea I like the color too it cost him another 1k for it. He went to work for a week but when he gets back we are going to take them out and race ; )

Beautiful car! I don't think there is a better looking "super car" than the vette. Lambo performance for a chevrolet price. Oh and I hope you all are talking about racing on the track?! I have lost a couple friends to street racing. The speed that car is capable of, it doesn't matter how good of a driver you are if something runs out/pulls out in front of you. Sorry had a grown up moment

While I too, am an "old man" my 6-speed 02 coupe will deliver 30+mpg on the freeway with the cruise set at around 80. It has a Vortec supercharger, larger injectors, Corsa Indy exhaust and a SuperChips tune. The tune is what makes everything come together even though the supercharger provides just over 7psi of boost. It dyno'ed at 443 RWHP and 403 ft-bls of torque at the wheels.

I sold a '92 vert with an automatic to get the 02 and even that car would deliver around 30 mpg at 75 using the cruise control. But that's cruising on the freeway. The occasional track day would drop gas mileage into the single digits

Yea I doubt it will be on a track the nearest track is about an hour away. The good thing it here is south TX all the roads are straight and flat, so all we need to do is go out in the country somewhere and let them rip it up. We will only race ¼ mile so it’s not so bad. Thanks for your concern.
