What was wrong with the old one?

As far as what a door should do it worked. The front looked crappy when we moved in in 2005 there were some dents and I kinda filled them and repainted. This yr with the sun it started to fade and look bad. We are re-doing all our trim work on the main floor (currently white to pine trim stained golden oak) so that is one reason why we changed it. We are also changing our patio door, currently a slider to french doors. Thats the next big project coming up.

But the real reason - My wife wanted them.

More and more that I look at it outside I think it looks good. Really draws you to the front of the house (can you tell i watch alot of HGTV?)

lol...I don't think I've actually USED my front door more than once a month for 5 years. It might have dents in it, it might not

I did use it today though, the roofing co. guy came by with my guesstimate on my new roof and rung the doorbell.

You are the opposite of lazy Ryan. You're always posting up projects that you do around your house and trucks. I wish I had your motivation!

 I'm about to have THREE to wash.

My garage has been a wreck lately too. We've put like three cams and 4 or 5 sets of headers on GTO's in the last couple of months out there. It's like as soon as I get it cleaned up, there's another Goat in the garage up on jack stands. I've gone through two 40 lb bags of floor-dry (kitty litter) this summer. My garbage collector probably thinks I'm raising either 400 cats or twelve pumas or something. :D

EDIT: ...... as long as the little lady is happy.

+1. As long as they're happy, we're happy. :P
