DELTONA, Fla. (AP) -- An angry Deltona father whacked his teenage daughter's boyfriend with a metal pipe after finding the boy naked in his daughter's room. Authorities say the father, 45, didn't even know his daughter had a boyfriend or that the youngster had been sneaking into the home for more than a year.

 

When he heard noises coming from his daughter's bedroom Thursday morning and saw a stranger standing naked on the girl's bed, he swung a metal pipe. He then chased the teen out the front door and called police.

 

The boy was taken to the hospital where doctors closed a head wound with staples.

 

The father was charged with aggravated battery on a child and bonded out on $10,000.

That is why I hope I don't have girl when I have kids; I'd do the exact same thing.

While I can see him having the pipe in the event someone had broken into the house, but whacking the boy, nope, not a good idea.

 

For me I hope to have a better relationship with my daughter so that she doesn't have to hide the fact that she has a boyfriend or has to sneak around. Kids are going to screw around as they have for generations. The hope there is to have a good enough relationship with your kid(s) so that you can talk to them and get them to understand that if they are going to screw around at least use the proper protection.

If I did have a daughter and if I did walk into her bedroom and some dude I didn't know was naked on her bed, he'd be damn lucky if ALL he got was a lead pipe up beside the head.. Lead would likely be involved, though......

I have a 16 yr old daughter that is just starting to date. Well, she is still 15, but turns 16 in a few weeks.

 

I try not to think of what I would do in this situation. Let's just say it likely wouldn't be pretty. I probably wouldn't hit him with a pipe, but I would definitely throw his ass out the door while still completely naked. Then I would call the cops and report him.

I guess I just assumed the guy thought this person was raping his daughter, in which case, I think he was completely justified in persuading him with that pipe. That kid knew he was not supposed to be there. In these circumstances, the father's perception of the situation should matter more than the kid's age.

 

If he realized it was something consensual, I think hitting him with a pipe was a bit much. Dragging him outside and calling the cops would have certainly been enough.

How big of a dumbass do you have to be do go f*ck a girl in her house, when her parents are home, AND they don't know who the eff you are? At least go take a drive or something...

I'll put in a clarification addendum here. If I heard noises and walked in on my daughter getting all funky with some guy, there are basically three outcomes. Non-consensual, the guy is a smear, he isn't leaving in anything other than a body bag. Consensual with smart ass reply, the guy is out the door butt naked, and if he 'bumps' into a wall or door frame along way, such is life. Consensual with polite reply, he's out the door but can get dressed.

This really depends on the daughter's age, and the guy's age, and assuming it was consensual. If she was under 15 and/or unconsensual, the lead pipe was completely justified. Otherwise, tossing him outside buck-naked would be punishment enough.

 

Agreed though that this guy has to be a bone-head to do this in her bedroom. You gotta take it elsewhere.

I can remember getting chased, but never got hit. I really don't believe I'd have used a lead pipe, but I'd have stuck a foot so far up his ass that he would've tasted shit. I don't know where all my girls went and done the nasty, all I know is they made me one young ass grandpa.

I completely agree. , In that situation instinct takes over and all you want to do is protect you and yours. I would have done the same thing in that situation.

Did the boy get charged with indecent exposure when he ran outside with no cloths?

 

I probably would of shot him with my bow... So I am sure that I would be in it pretty deep...
