I'm Looking Fora Build Sheet For My Tahoe

I'm a long time Chev truck owner and new today to this forum...Great information available here!...I just bought an 03 Tahoe VIN # 1GNEK13Z33J293186 and I'm looking for a build sheet....I saw another thread where M Cuerva worked pretty hard to supply several build sheets but the thread hasn't been posted on in a while.....Can anyone help, please.....Thanks in advance...Red

Welcome Red. The GM employees that frequent this site are no longer allowed to post such information is why you haven't gotten a build sheet. As far as an owners manual goes you can go to www.helminc.com for a hard copy or sign up on www.mygmlink.com for an electronic version. You can try the dealer on the build sheet as well.

Sup Red, welcome to the site. as noted above, we cannot give that information out (pending final word from GM). If you have questions about what came on your truck, I can give you up to five pieces of information and still be in compliance with GM. (I have done extensive research on what they allow and what they dont). The dealership may be able to give you a copy of the GMVIS screen (printout) of what is on your truck from the factory, but it may cost you.

When I needed a build sheet for my trucks I went to the local dealership and they printed one out for me. I believe that will be your best bet.

Thanks for the info....Too bad GM is not letting that info go anymore... I am interested in the suspension. package..Sway bars, disc brakes and also the tow package...I've only had the truck for a few days and like it...It handles very well and has 4 wheel discs that stop easily...It came with new TOYO 265-85 16 tires and they seem to work well on the road....I haven't been on the dirt/gravel yet...My other chev is a '75 3/4 ton 4x4 custom deluxe plain jane model with a grandma 4 speed and hubs.. It came with lock ring 16 in wheels that I still use....I bought this '75 when it was one year old with 10K mi on it...It is now on its 3rd engine and after the box rusted off, I put a 9 ft flatbed on it...I have painted it twice and It is stil lin use and gets about 6K miles a year..It is the best work truck ever... Thanks ....I looked at lots of used 03-04 tahoes...(There seem to be a lot available these days) and I noticed this one had FAT sway bars and the leveling control arms. (I didn't know what they were called at the time)..I will post pics soon guys ....(of both my trucks).... I want to wash them first Red

i have a friend who works in the service department at a chevy dealer and hes good friends with some of the salespeople so i usually just give him the vin.
