I have a 1999 Z71 2500 Crew Cab. When at speed on the interstate and I let off the gas the tranny feels like it catches a lower gear and slows the vehicle momentarily-then it frees again. Is this a common problem? Warranty expires this month and dealer says they can not find a problem.

My 2500 does it too, doesn't seem like a problem, my buddies 1500 doesn't do it, I think it is just more noticable in the heavy tranny {ML480E }, when the torque converter locks and unlocks, especially when on and off the gas, like when coasting and then into the gas again, ps are you the g-man from the tractor site? pss can't wait to supercharge the 6.0 this winter.
