Firestone Wilderness Tires

i have a 03 tahoe with 43k miles. all 4 firestone tires are cupped on the inside. i have read others having this problem anybody here had this problem . going to purchase a set of tires from tirerack.com excellent service and price. and i will not buy firestone. steve

I doubt it's the Firestones....sounds like an alignment issue to me.

yeah must be the alignment. i have had 3 sets on the OE wilderness tires with over 60k on the first 2 sets. i would get a new set of wilderness from a firestone service center and get the lifetime alignment package.

My 2000 Sierra Z71 came with Wilderness ATs and they went 50K+ miles. They also handled very well in the rain and snow. I was never really a Firestone fan, but I cannot say anything bad about those tires.

Tires don't wear out on their own. Odd wear patterns are the direct result of incorrect air pressures or mechanical issues. I have had a couple of Firestone Destination AT sets and had superb luck. (yeah that's a different tire) You might look into them on Tirerack. The ratings are excellent.

 

I was not a Firestone tire fan before experiencing these tires.
