Compact Pickup

Anyone have or know of someone selling a compact GM pickup for $2,000 or less in Massachusetts?

 

Year and engine doesnt really matter. Automatic Trans is necessary and able to pass inspection. I know this is asking a lot but I appreciate any help.

I'd bet on Craigslist.org

 

An early S10 would be a fit... if they aren't all rusted to the ground up there.

I have tried Craiglist and Autotrader, I found a few but they are all more then $2,000. I was kind of hoping for a word of mouth thing so if anyone knows of one please let me know. Like I said before I am not to concerned with the model and other details, just an automatic transmission and it can pass inspection. Thanks again!

Guy I work with is selling a '91 S10 with the 4.3 and a long bed for $1000 obo.

 

It's only got about 73k miles on it. Not in the greatest of shape, the interior has a couple of missing bolts and it's a bare bones truck. The exterior is just faded. No major dents or rust (not much of a problem here).

 

For that price you could buy a plane ticket and drive it home and still be out less than 2k.

I think one of my GTO buddies is going to buy it and do his own "under 10 seconds for under 5 grand" project anyway.
