No joke! I root for UT when they play anyone but Tech, and I root for Tech all the time! It was nice to see the "underdogs" win this one!

Enjoy this season because it'll be another 70 years before you guys get another 9-0 season and another 5 or so years before you beat Texas again. :confused:

This don't happen enough so it is definitely one to remember. I always root the horns when they don't play my Raiders. Honestly though I feel for McCoy and all his effort just to lose in the end...that's one hard kick to the gut...

Im an NE fan and I was rootin for Tech. That game kicked ass!!

Karl, the disparity between the S and N divisions, the haves and have-nots, in the big 12 is a joke! Why even south cellar-dweller Baylor gave Mizzou all it could handle! And as for NE, 28 points in 2 and half minutes by OU was, well, game over.

The South shall rise again and it has.... :confused:

I wish I could post some trash-talking badmouthing about the Tech game. But I have to say Tech played a much more solid game. I was at a loss for words in the first half. Texas came back hard in the 2nd and made a really exciting game out of it.

 

Tech gave TX a chance to win it with a gift-wrapped int that we couldn't pull down. I knew after that drop that Tech would get it into the endzone.

 

Congrats Tech, you deserved to win that game. And I HATE saying that. Thanks for making it one heck of an exciting game, and good luck (or not??) in the next 2 weeks.

Whatever. They're just lucky they don't play Iowa State this year . . . :confused:

Both are great teams. Im not a huge fan of either but I did watch the game. Texas looked like a high school team in the first half and played pretty good football in the second. Tech really should be glad Texas wasn't on their game in the first half. I think Tech has a great team but they barely won that game.

Of Course they barely won!! It's Texas!!! I mean if Tech would have obliterated Texas that would not been a good game. Everyone would have just said Texas had a bad game. Instead Texas came back in the Second half and Tech still managed to keep their cool and win.

 

Tech is not going to roll over any top team. They are gonna earn their wins against these big schools.
