Tire Help Tonight Please

Going into the tire shop tommaro.

 

2008 1500 Silverado With 2.5" level kit

 

These are the 2 sizes im looking at...

 

285/65/18--- 32.6" tire

 

305/65/18--- 33.6" tire

 

I know the 32.6 will fit because others have this setup, but will the 33.6" tire fit?

Others have said that the 305s will rub like a mutha without a leveling kit and work with a little trimming with a kit. A lot depends on the wheel too.

IMO... I would go with the 285's the 305's will rub...

id go 285s i i have 295 and they rub when i cut the wheel in one spot.

How close are they to rubbing? I've got the RC 2" leveling kit, which is really more like 1.5" and would like to run 285/65/18s like you're running.

Ill have pictures on the weekend sometime, I want the HID's to be in the pic as well. And they are about 1.5" away from the bumbper, there seems to be a bit of room, so they should be ok for yours.
